Privatization Holding Company (PHC), formerly known as Kuwait Privatization Projects Holding Company(KPPHC) was established in 1994 with a capital of K.D. 1 million. PHC is a Kuwaiti Shareholding company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange with a capital of KD 79.3 million & a shareholder's equity of almost K.D. 161 Million. |
The Major shareholders are National Industries Group and Kuwait Financial Center. |
The objective of PHC is to invest directly in infrastructure projects and to own significant stakes in companies with the same objectives. The company continuously evaluates investment opportunities targeting: • Significant stakes including board representation, in entities providing services in the different sectors such as energy, infrastructure, Telecom and Utilities.
• Government-owned assets that are offered for privatization.
• Participation in government-owned infrastructure projects on a BOT/BOOT basis.
• Significant stakes including board representation in family-owned businesses, likely to be restructured into publicly held corporations. |
